
This was my first time making a cherry crumble and it did not disappoint!
This cherry crumble recipe has the perfect balance of sweet and tart, making it the perfect mid-day treat or dessert! It’s also loaded with vitamin c and antioxidants and is gluten and refined sugar free (if you leave the ice cream out!)

Cherry Crumble
Ingredients
Cherry Filling
- 3 cups cherries, fresh or frozen, cut in half and pitted
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp tapioca or arrowroot starch
- 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
Crumble Topping
- 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tbsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°f
- Cut cherries in half and remove the pit.
- In a medium sized bowl, combine all of the cherry ingredients and set aside.
- To a separate bowl, add all of the crumble ingredients together and mix until well combined.
- Grease a 9×9 baking dish or preferred dish and add cherries. Top with crumble, making sure to cover cherries completely.
- Bake for 32-35 minutes or until crumble is golden brown.
- Top with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
