This 15-minute plum compote is packed with real fruit, fresh herbs, and warm spices, which, when combined, taste incredible!
Compotes are surprisingly easy and make breakfasts feel extra special.
Ingredients
* Ripe plums
* Maple syrup
* Fresh lemon juice
* Fresh rosemary
* Cinnamon
* Sea salt

Instructions
*Simmer everything for about 15 minutes until the plums break down into a thick, jammy sauce.
*Remove the rosemary before serving.

Plum and Rosemary Compote
Ingredients
- 5 ripe plums
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- juice of half a lemon
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Wash and remove pits from plums.
- Add everything to a pot and simmer for about 15 minutes until the plums break down into a thick, jammy sauce. (Make sure to continue to stir and scrape the bottom of the pot to avoid the compote to stick)
- Remove the rosemary before serving.
- Once done, remove from heat and let cool slightly. Carefully transfer to jar with an air tight lid. Let cool completely before putting in the fridge.
- Add to your oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, yogurt or even ricotta toast for a little extra flavor, enjoy!
