This hormone-supportive cacao elixir has been my go-to during my period lately because it’s packed with minerals, antioxidants, warming spices, and ingredients traditionally used to support women’s health.
What’s in it and what are the benefits?
-raw cacao → magnesium + mood support
-beet root → circulation + iron support
-maca → hormone + energy support
-turmeric + cinnamon → anti-inflammatory support
-rose petals → calming + heart-opening
-cardamom + vanilla → nervous system nourishment

all blended with creamy non-dairy milk + a little maple syrup

Ingredients: 16 servings
-1 cup cacao powder
-1 tbsp dried rose petals, crushed
-1/2 tbsp beet root powder
-1 tsp maca powder
-1/2 tsp cardamom
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp turmeric
-1/8 tsp black pepper
-1/2 tbsp goji berry powder
Method:
•Combine all ingredients to a mason jar and mix together. Stays good for months if kept sealed and in cooler temperatures.
•When you are ready to drink, bring 1 1/2 cups of milk/dairy free milk to a boil.
•Reduce to a simmer and add 1 tbsp of your cacao elixir to the milk with a splash of vanilla extract and about 1/2 tbsp of maple syrup (add more or less depending on how sweet you want it)
•Whisk until well combined and hot.
•Pour into a mug and top with dried rose petals and cinnamon. Enjoy!
