Protein Oats with Chai Spiced Stewed Apples

Ingredients
- ½ cup organic rolled oats
- 1 ¼ cups milk of choice
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- splash maple syrup
- splash vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1 apple, cubed
- ½ cup water
- ½ tbsp chai spice mix cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, mace
- walnuts
Instructions
- Wash and cube apple.
- Mix 1/2 cup water and 1/2 tbsp of chai spice until dissolved.
- Add cut apples to a pan and pour chai liquid overtop.
- Let simmer on low until liquid reduces.
- To a pot, add milk and bring to a low simmer.
- Add oats, maple syrup, vanilla and salt. Mix and let reduce.
- Once the oats have reduced, add protein powder and mix.
- Add to a bowl and top with apples and additional sauce on top.
- Top with walnuts and enjoy!
